Holy shit, I just made $200 in tips as a restaurant server in one night!!! Granted, I got off work at 4:30am and worked for 9 hours straight, but it still comes out to a really nice hourly wage. I'm super excited this week - I was just offered an internship with the American Medical Student Association in Washington, DC for the entire month of August! SWEEET! Well, it's not exactly in DC - it's in Reston, VA which is a suburb just outside of DC. Still, it's close enough to the city to go and check out all the sights that I've never seen. ( Read more... )
