A few weeks ago I looked at the Supanova website for this year's guests in Perth and didn't see anything of particular interest to me so I wasn't going to go.

And then I go back today and what do I see but this:

CBR has an interview with Scott Tipton (writer) and Elena Casagrande (artist) about their comic adaptation of the AtS episode "A Hole in the World". I love the pictures about half way down the page showing the transition from pencil to ink to colour. That part of the comic drawing process always fascinates me. It's clear from this post that there will be another Angel series, set in about 1850-60 is my guess. I hope it is Urru/Byrne - that should be a good pairing.

I'm not sure how all three of these books escaped my attention but I'm clearly going to have to go on the hunt for them as soon as possible:

After yesterday's shocking news about Andy Hallett's death, I did the only thing I could - I watched AtS S4e03 The House Always Wins, AtS S4e06 Spin The Bottle and AtS S5e05 Life of the Party, my three favourite Lorne-centric episodes. Sad news - Andy Hallett died yesterday, aged just 33 from heart failure stemming from cardiomyopathy, developed as a result of an infected dental filling.
