So ChibiUsa can't enter Elysium any more because Pluto died? That's so sad! :( Beautiful descriptive writing, though I get the feeling she can't enter more through her own mental block than through anything Elios has done.
That's part of it, she realizes that since she is an adult now she'll react to him differently and that frightens her. Chibiusa is such an interesting mix of cynicism and optimism, I imagine the line between the two would just continue to blur as she matures. Helios hasn't done anything, she is just afraid that because of the way she viewed him as a child and all the time that has passed since they last met that she is in love with someone who essentially doesn't exist. I think she has just figured out that relationships are messy and a little part of her wants to keep the sort of perfect pure thing they had untarnished. And now I will stop my horrible habit of examining Chibiusa's mind, thanks for commenting!
Oh, and when do you want me to start posting themes for this month? Whenever is good for me, except the 25-29 might prove tricky because I'm going home for Thanksgiving and then coming back.
Please start from tomorrow (8th November), thanks. I'm doing the week from November 21st anyway, so I will do the extra day on the 29th.
Anyway, I really liked this story, especially the way you examine ChibiUsa's state of mind and the way her fear makes her want to stay where she is. It's very realistic to me.
