I think that you have done a wonderful job with this. I really like the tone - it's very Larry. I can't wait for the rest!

Larry's sandwich manifesto and his twinkie musings are--even with no sex in sight--oddly hot, and absolutely fulfilling. I want to marry him. I want to watch him eat a twinkie.
And I haven't even gotten to part 2 yet!

Miriam, I'm so happy that you like it! You know I wallow (like a pig) in your L/C whenever possible. The Twinkies came to me first, followed by Larry being stuck in white bread and Velveeta.
There is often fic about how Charlie needed Larry during Charlie's teenage years at CalSci, but how much did Larry need Charlie? What if Charlie wasn't there for *him*?
It's painful to see Larry so unhappy, but perhaps the Cosmos will bring resolution after all. Charlie pops up in Part 2, tipping Larry's calcified world off its axis.
It's not hard to make Larry hot, is it? Although Twinkies give it little extra kick. :)

Ted is *totally* flummoxed by Numb3rs slash ("But they're not gay on TV! They like girls." "Oh, really, dear?"), not to mention his wife writing it ("Why do *you* want to make them gay?!"). The Don/Charlie discussion was esp. funny. ("Ewwwww! There have to be some *serious* psychological issues for people to write *that*!" "We all have our issues, dear.")
But he was a good sport and helped w. grammar to pare down the excessive adjectives. ("Wow, you sure got intimate with the Thesaurus, didn't you?" "Well, Larry does like to use a lot of big words, dear.... Hey, I really need that one!")
