It is. I try to tell myself that I'll still see her plenty, but it's going to be so different with her not being 5 or 10 minutes away. :(

Aww, darling, I'm so sorry. I know transitions are the roughest times of all. No matter how much you reassure yourself that you're going to see your mom, the distance is always going to seem like it's halfway around the world. And on top of that to have Brandon's parents going through a separation... that's gotta be so stressful. I think the best thing you can do is be there for each other even if you don't know what to say because it's just nice to know that somebody's supporting you.

That's gotta be hard, being so far away from your mother. Honestly, I've never been that far away from my parents before so I can't really imagine.

And I'm really sorry to hear about Brandon. I think the best you can even do is just be there for him and support him. I think that alone is helpful <3

I hope things start looking up for you. Maybe school will do that for you.

Yeah, and I never thought it would be this hard, because she's gone down to Georgia for work plenty of times, but we still had our house and everything then, too. It's a big adjustment, but I'll be fine. :)

Yes, I'll always be there for him, and hopefully, the situation with his parents will work itself out somehow. <3

Yeah, I'm excited for school to start. I need something to keep me busy, haha.

I just had the realization the other day that my mom is living across the country from me now. At first I didn't notice because I had moved 2 hours away from my hometown about 3 years ago, but then it just hit me. It was extremely weird.

I guess, what I am trying to get at is, I know how you feel. And I hope you feel my long distances hug.

I've never been far away from my family either, and I can't imagine how much life would change to not be able to see my mom or dad on an at least somewhat regular basis. I truly am sorry and hope that you'll at least be able to keep in good contact through the phone and internet during those times when you're not able to see one another in person. :(

I'm also incredibly sorry for Brandon's situation. I truly hope things work out, and I'm glad you'll be there for him in a time he needs most. Life is certainly proving to be tough right now, but at least I've learned when life is rough for a while it can only get better. I'll be keeping my fingers extra-crossed that things start looking brighter for you (and Brandon) very soon ♥
