I've had a busy week yet again and more issues with my health. Gotta love it. Oh and fighting over health insurance benefits...or lack of. *groans* But I'm not going to get into

Oh I like the cover! (I forgot to say that in my last message. *frowns*) The cover reminds me of the ones you see sometimes on Penguin Books "Classics" series.

I hope you at least take a few minutes out to grab some choccy and tea! *hugs you*

That is definitely the look the client was going for with that cover. Now I'm wrestling with the next one for her...geez. LOL

Now that I think of it....the woman on the cover kinda reminds me of Andrea Riseborough (who played the character Angelica Fanshawe)from "The Devil's Whore". (I think the noose in the bottom corner of the cover is also influencing me too.)

I don't know if you've ever seen that mini-series? Michael Fassbender and John Sim were also in it.

I haven't seen it, but the name sounds familiar. I'm really glad that this cover design is intriguing! It sure helps to hear that I've been successful in the design of it. *hugs*

That cover turned out really good, imho. The girl's face really stands out and make me wonder about her...so I'd guess that was part of the idea, especially with the gallows below. Excellent work!

Ah, fighting over health insurance benefits...or lack of. I know it well. I'm sorry you have to fight with it as well. I love the cover! It's so simple and lovely. Let me know how the Game of Thrones novels are. They interest me but seem a little odd and confusing.

I'm sure you know exactly of what I speak. *sighs* I'm still fighting for my insulin pump supplies to be covered...I had to order them this week and it nearly killed me to pay full price. But as you know, we need our supplies to live.
