Journal Name Change ~ FINALLY *laughs* [lessy37 no longer]

I finally went ahead with renaming my journal. So I am now cat_o_wen  instead of 'lessy37'. Thank you sarmatianknight  for the name suggestion. It was long overdue to finally replace the 'lessy' nickname online. I wrangled with making it cat_pendragon as it is truly 'Arthur' that I have loved since I was a young girl. But 'Pendragon' certainly ties me to that one fandom

That is what happened to me with 'lessy' *laughs* I agonized over this name change for weeks though...but I'm glad it's done and I'm happy with it.

It's going to take some getting used to - you've been lessy for how many years now? Congrats on all the freelance work, and good luck on the job offer.

I was given the nickname of 'lessy' a very long time ago when I was on a Lord of the Rings forum and I used it when I created this LJ...but I haven't actually used it in years...everyone that I hang around with now just calls me by my real name, so it was time to make it official on here too. *laughs*

I'll keep you posted on the job front. Everything going alright for you??

I'm going to have to get used to the name but I love it. I saw cat_o_wen and went 'wait a minute' lol. I love your icon too. Is that one you're going to share?

*laughs* After I made the entry, I actually went back and edited the title with 'former lessy37' to hopefully lessen the confusion.

I don't know if I'll share that icon or not, I haven't had time to make icons recently in order to put together a graphics post. Thank you for the compliment on it!

Seriously, it's a good name. And quite ingenious of you to use your favourite man. I'm proud of you ;)

And of course I will have my thumbs crossed for your job... How long can it take them to make a decision? (sorry, I never had an interview, it's absolutely new for me...)

Yeah, the new name is a play on words too that does sound 'Far Eastern' which is cool. And it was shorter than cat_pendragon to type. *laughs* Lordy. Cathy is my real name and I often go by 'Cat', so I figured it was about time that my LJ name included my real name since everyone that I know associate with online calls me Cat anyways. *gg*

There is no set time for an employer to make a decision. *grumps* But I am going to follow up with him this afternoon - thank him for his time and wish him a good weekend and see if I get a response. I'll keep you posted!

Yennefer is my favourite female character ever- I once, many years ago when I was naive and stupid (it somehow implies that now I'm versed in the ways of the world and wise, yes? WRONG) figured it'd make a great username.

Alicja is lovely! And no real need to change your LJ User name is there? Or are you just wanting a change? It sounds like Yennefer is a special name, so perhaps just keep it? Do you still concider the character a favorite or have your tastes completely changed?
