It's the first line from the song "Candyman" sung by Sammy Davis Jr., who had a fake eye...remember the line from Adam Sandler's Thanksgiving song? "Turkey and sweet potato pie/Sammy Davis Jr. only had one eye."

The fake eye on the cat is from a stuffed animal, and they just laid it on the cat's face. It freaked me out when I first saw the pic for the first time.

Oh, good - I was a little worried about that kitty! I couldn't imagine what had happened to it's eye! Thank you for filling me in here.

Sandy Duncan only had one eye too, but I don't think she had as memorable a song to her credit as "Candyman"...
