i hate foundations - but a good one that gives good coverage without being cloggy or feeling like yr wearing foundation is Lancome - they do several but the 'photogenic' matt one in an oval/teardrop tube thing is excellent. not particularly cheap unfortunately, but the tube lasts for ages and comes in all sorts of pale shades too..
