Why do you say 'Gygaxed?' I mean, I know who he was, just not why his name has turned into a verb.

Apparently Gary Gygax had a habit of scrambling his name, and the names of his friends, to make characters in the early modules.

In this case, 'Pegg' becomes 'Geppa', a neutral good sorceress whose love of pretty things gets her into trouble. Can't really give more details, alas.
