Murder Most Fowl

Walking home from work, I passed an enormous ENORMOUS murder of crows, all, to borrow a phrase, flocking and a-flapping. The noise was tremendous. In Vancouver every evening the crows make their way to Burnaby Lake where they nest. There are often 1000's of crows at a time flying over. It is quite something to see. I wonder if there is a similar daily migration of crows in the Calgary area too.

It's possible - but I walk home this way quite often (not always at the same time of day, true) and I have never seen something like this before - it really was something to see!
