Fun so far, and I can't fault characterization - I think you've got the Howells just right. :)
I really don't see the Professor with Ginger, though. He wants a girl with some substance, someone who can help him out in the bush. I keep speculating (and not writing) a Professor/Gilligan/Mary Ann story where they have a farm together, after being rescued. My idea is he becomes the crazy high-school science teacher, and the students are always out at his farm helping him with some weird experimental invention.

Thank you!
I can see your point about the Professor. If the shipwreck had not happened I doubt the Professor and Ginger would have ever meet let alone fall in love. Them being on the island changes things a bit thous, and I believe that Ginger does have some hidden depths. Her stay on the island certainly made her a better person.
I'm a huge Gilligan/Mary Ann shipper and really only mildly ship Ginger and the Professor, so the main reasons I wanted to include both couples was because one, those are the two main couples of the Gilligan's Island fandom, and two I wanted this story to be a typical Jeeves and Wooster story with various couples and misunderstandings.
Also I have a scene planned where Ginger desperate to get the Professor to get his nose out of his books and notice her throws herself at Bertie in an attempt to get the Professor jealous.
If you ever do write your story I'd definitely enjoy reading it.It sounds fascinating, and I love your idea on what an older Professor would be like. :)
Wonderful! I think the characterization is well done. I love your Bertie voice.
I love this: I merely rolled my eyes. I may have mentioned before, but Jeeves seemed to strangely attract American women. (All of the castaways appeared, at least from the accents, to be of that strain of people.) He has assured me that there was nothing that could be done about it, but I still found the trait an annoying one.
