awwwww! This made me tear up a bit (although the pmt probably isn't helping). I actually just re-read the entire series from part one because it had been a while and I wanted to remind myself what happened. Angst overload! (but in a good way, because Connor/Abby angst is win, and now there's comfort and snuggles as well, which is even better after all the hurt).

Good to see they're finally communicating properly, if a bit hesitantly. Those two are never going to make it easy on themselves, are they? And Connor getting angry and ranty is great, it's about time he really stood up for himself and didn't let Abby get away with pushing him away again.

Hope you had a good time away, and can get on with writing more of this when you get back *grin*.

Oh, I'm glad you liked it! I'll get chapter 7 posted on here pretty quickly... at least you are reviewing this here! I've got a following on FF.net but here? Not so much. *shrugs*

It has been very quiet around here lately, we were saying that in the comments to another fic just a few days ago. Maybe a lot of people are on holiday and that's why no-one's commenting? I'd been away for a few days and came back and had an entire morning catching up on reading A/C fic and wallowing in the angst and hurt/comfort :)

Sorry I haven't commented before, but I have been reading and lurking (as I haven't had a decent plot ideas for months) and thoroughly enjoying this fic. Honest communication is always bloody hard, but at least they're trying.

And I loved the bit about him keeping the bracelet.

That they are, which is more than they have done before. At this point, they are starting to realize that anything worth having is worth working for... and that this is worth working for.

The bracelet seemed to me like something Connor would do. He's not got a very good grasp of social norms or relationship 'rules,' and he's such a sweetie. Glad you liked it...
