HMDHave you issues? Do you want me to know that I'm messing up and messing up bad? Have I taken things so far that clearly I'm not playing Desire anymore? Or maybe you just have some feedback on a plot, a thread, or a post! I don't mean to nitpick, but this is something you mix up a lot, and I'm not sure if anyone's corrected you yet. Uh, the word "it's" just means "it is." When you want something to belong to it, the word you want is "its," no apostrophe. "it's going to the store" versus "its groceries.

Usually not a big deal, but since your character is an it, this shows up more frequently.

I'm aware of that rule of the English language. However, the English language, unlike others, doesn't have a way to describe a non-gendered person.

Desire is an It as a matter of course, unless it's with someone who imposes a gender on it (Tony, for example, imposes the female gender on it, so when it's with Tony, Desire is a she - unless she wants to be a he, naturally). So the possessive, because it is a thinking, breathing individual takes the apostrophe to designate that it's not a rock, or a tree, or something else non-living.

Yes, it's grammatically incorrect by the strictest definition. But this is also not exactly a conventional set of linguistics. If I mix it up in terms of using Its things, that is my unintentional mistake. I intend to use It's for the reasons stated above.
