I'm loving all the Jennifer Beals adoration going on lately on the show. She's freaking awesome. She might be the only reason why I'm looking forward to this two-parter (still haaaaaaaaaate the idea of a third one in as many seasons, gah). Well played, show.

I don't know why everyone is having a hissy fit over the two-parter. I fully expected all of this, and I don't mind seeing more jealous Beckett and having another lady that is a 'muse'. I think it'll be interesting to watch. Plus, I adore spy things.

There is obviously a reason they're having Jennifer playing a muse he once had, and having Beckett jealous of it. As the saying goes, Marlowe has a plan. I trust him.

And I've awkwardly never seen Flash Dance or whatever it's called. I've only seen her in Lie To Me. *Don't hurt me*

I... didn't know JB was playing another muse (I'm spoiler-free). And I hated the idea of another two-parter since before JB was announced as a guest star because, seriously, all this "ZOMG it's the end of the world and only Castle and Beckett can save it except they're kinda almost gonna get themselves killed, like, twice in two hours" is just overkill a third time. I'd rather have had two normal episodes like episode 13 instead of a big Johanna Beckett episode. It's not like there's an unwritten rule that EVERY season must have a two-parter.

But after the promo I'm also annoyed by the Beckett jealousy because, ugh, must EVERY woman that comes on the show be seen as competition by Beckett? Can't two strong-willed, smart women just get along without Castle getting in the middle? It's lazy and it makes Beckett look excessively petty. We never saw that with Fallon, but we did with Shaw and now this character. It's annoying.

So yeah, JB is totally the saving grace for me right now.
