Oh my god. I LOVE it. Jones! I don't think I've ever read a fic involving him before! And it's really adorable, especially the last line.

One nitpick: "The Major was in a particularly fowl mood..." It should read, "foul," otherwise I get mental images of Klaus in a chicken suit. ^^;

Thanks! I love Jonesy (the man, not the character). And I thought what better subordinate to bring forward since he, like the real one, was never really one for the spotlight.

There's such a nice feeling about the whole story, and the piano (I could hear it play, in my mind :D) makes such a lovely background to their talk.
