but, please, could one stay out of Iran-bashing right now, when USA and Israel is threatening to turn it into Iraq-like ruin?

Anyway, Iran has its own uranium, so it does not need to buy it (I suppose "yellow cake" busted fake was too good not to use)

I more or less immune now to anti-Russian Eroica stories, I take them with a gran of salt, but Iran is a very delicate topic, and the danger to lives of 75 000 000 people should, I feel, be taken in regard.

I avoid talking about politics. I live in a place where my political views are often in direct conflict with my neighbors, so I tend to keep my mouth shut.

Choosing Iran was a plot device. Nothing more. It could easily have been 100 other things, and it is easily changed.

Hinting that my story is in some way disrespectful to the Iranians... Well... obviously the subject is a delicate one for you, and I will respect your opinion.

I have not said that your story is in some way disrespectful to the Iranians. It is exactly because I was sure you had used "Iran" randomly I was concerned. Subject of life and death of millions of people regardless their nationality is always important to me, and so I feel ill at ease when somebody without bad intentions glosses over it as if it was nothing.

Could I suppose that if "Iran" is not important to your plot you'll change it to something else? I know that I am bothering you, so I say sorry ones more
