Thanks for this. 'Guh' is accepted with gratitude. I wanted to use the military theme for a few reasons, one being the 'feel' of military at Montgomery's funeral - drums, turning out in uniforms, the flag. Glad it worked.

I, obviously, want the Kate/Josh thing to work out, I know it won't but a girl can dream. And as long as the show isn't airing I'm going to stick to it. I do know Castle & Beckett will end up together and they do belong, I suppose. Better when he was naughty and... well you know. :)

I'm quite glad you didn't revolt me with anything in this fic, it is not the sort if thing that should give me weird or revolting thoughts. The old haunt, yes. This no, so I'm glad.

And I don't know what would get me excited about S4 (maybe I'll just get plastered!), because it is all so.different to what I.fell in love with. This is becoming more apparent with the S1 rewatch.
