CLAIIIIIIRE. You wrote her so so well and this was *exactly* the sort of thing I hoped for!

THINGS I LOVE: the salt! how it's there throughout, and it's because of what Dean told her mom and because it's what she has, but it's also because it's what her Daddy did! SALT ALONE DOES VERY LITTLE GOOD. CLAIRE PRAYS, SORT OF.

I LOVE THIS TONS. How driven she is, how right she knows she is. SHE DOES THINGS DIFFERENTLY, BETTER. I love how she disturbs the older hunter and how she is old enough to do anything but run for President. Claire for President 20-something! ALTERNATE SOURCES! And Cas-mail gave her salt!! I love love love it!

I am so glad you enjoyed this, I just loved working with your prompt. I've had a few of my own theories about what could happen to the Novaks after The Rapture, but hunter!Claire is easily the most fascinating one I've come across, and it was such an interesting idea to explore. I'm glad you liked the salt - I couldn't get the idea out of my head after I rewatched that scene.

Thanks! Credit for the hunting idea belongs to metonomia, obviously, but it was a lot of fun to write, and I'm glad you enjoyed it.

The idea of Claire turning to hunting hadn't occurred to me before I started writing this, but it does make a lot of sense. One way or another, that day is going to have a huge effect on her life. I'm glad you liked what I came up with!

Claaaaaaire, omg. I really liked this, how she starts to fight and then just keeps going, how she prays for help and goes on the offensive and is just awesome.
