Heeh, thanks for a trip down memory lane with these posts, Tansy.
A couple of years ago I remember watching a Who episode, possibly seeds of doom, that I recall scared the crap out of me as a kid.
I had nightmares about green strangly-planty-stuff crawling up my arm, or being chopped up in some kind of conveyer-belt contraption.
Anyway, watched it again, said aloud in a shocked voice, "it's green bubble wrap!" and decided never to rewatch any more because they might also be ruined.
But now I am mighty tempted. Robots of Death! The Talons of Weng Chiang! I was terrified of that rat, age 6. I experienced no such thing as propfail! And I dreamed of having K9 for a pet.
I remember being so sad that Tom Baker wasn't properly in the Five Doctors. It had everything else I loved.
He is so good in Series Seven of Monarch of the Glen :D If you never watch any other Monarch, it is worth just getting series 7! It stands alone and his character, Donald Macdonald, is hilarious.
