A little while ago, Jeff VanderMeer asked the important question: what do you look for in an anthology?

I meant to answer at the time, but I had been mulling over a blog entry on a similar topic for some time, and it was all just too big in my head to condense down to a comment.

he he! like you I love the big intros that give an historical perspective - and as a gal who loves footnotes, what can i say? Footnote fetish, moi?!

Just wanted to add .. if you're short a copy of Women of Other worlds, just let me know - i can send you 10! (we rescued them from the press before they were pulped). Just let me know how many signed copies you want and I'll bring 'em to aussiecon (tess is coming too!) :-)
