I'm really enjoying all these Snapshots across LJ, even though I know very little about the genre and haven't heard of 90 per cent of the interviewees. But all the writers sound fascinating and they're truly inspirational.

Heh well we are trying to include as many people as possible who are being published right now, to give a picture of what's going on in Australian spec fic - have pooled the resources of everyone we have heard of and come across, and it's proving surprisingly broad! So many new writers have sprung up since the last Snapshot.

I am learning lots too - it was really perfect timing for this, so we can all educate ourselves about Australian specfic before Worldcon!

I know this isn't helping my determination to not buy books...
