Today, having hit my word count and conquered the mighty BAS (bleh tax, bleh) and done at least one more thing from my List O Doom, home with a sick child (eyes child suspiciously, for a given value of 'sick', anyway) I spent the afternoon decadently reading The Wiscon Chronicles, a series of books from Aqueduct Press containing much of the wit, ( Read more... )

The article is in The Wiscon Chronicles 2, edited by L. Timmel Duchamp and available from Aqueduct Press - I ordered a boxful of books from them a couple of weeks ago and was really impressed by price & speed of recovery.

I'm working on a review for all 3 volumes of the Wiscon Chronicles but anyone with an interest in feminist SF discussions will get huge value out of each volume - the panel transcripts and other stuff are awesome, as are the various academic papers.
