Thank you for sharing your story. This was such a massive trauma, most particularly for New Yorkers. We in the rest of the world can all remember where we were and what we were doing when those planes hit and the towers went down, but for New Yorkers, it was so much more devastating. When we met our son's extended family of in-laws in New York in 2019 we got a lot of 9/11 stories and it was obviously still really affecting so many people who had worked in the city at the time and who had been witnesses or who had lost family/friends/co-workers, or had even been injured/sustained ongoing health issues from the smoke/dust themselves.
