[Notes and such.]The project began as a straight takeoff of “The Road Warrior,” with Jensen as Max and Jared as the stork-like Gyro Captain, pet snakes and all. Then news broke about J2’s road trip from Vancouver to Austin, and ... I wish I could say that the idea burst forth like Athena from Zeus’s noggin, but inspiration didn't strike until late one night while watching a con video in which Jensen cradled his Starbucks for dear life.
Thanks, as always, to the awesome spn_cinema mods for running this fabulous movie playground and giving us the chance to recast Jared and Jensen into roles they were born to play. Thanks to George Miller for making the original movie, and most of all, to J2 for making that road trip.
Should I ever again entertain the idea of drawing black leather, for the love of all that’s holy, stop me.
