ahhhhhh. WE DID IT! omg. somehow. I have no idea how. I think I told you in the beginning I'd be the worst "author" ever to work with. SORRY ABOUT THAT. STILL.
Sam stripping out of his space suit is OMG like the best thing everrrrrr. I ♥ it. So, SO MUCH.
Mary's death is SUCH a cool perspective, and I just love little Dean's hand on his baby brother inside of Mary, and Dean with his telescope in the dark, with Sam's crash landing.
it's all so wonderful, girl!
Thanks for being so ridiculously patient with me, especially when I didn't even finish half of it until this afternoon.
Omigosh! This is all wonderful. Wonderful! I love Dean's expression as he's confronted by naked!Sam's groin. Lol. And I'm super excited because Mars!!!! :)
My favorite dude in a space suit *chinhands* Mars looks so awesomely globey.
Gosh, this is a wonderful peek into that comicbook you're going to make out of this, right? Such a cool premise. SAM'S VIEW OUT OF THE CRIB, MY HEART.
Love the pre-crop version of Dean's discovery even more than the cut version; the turquoise in that piece is so gorgeous. Glasses!Dean and Spacesuit!Jared are a great combo (but don't feel bad for taking the suit off; don't ever stop practicing anatomy, you hear?) I like the rough structure of the ground where Dean is holding Sam and of course all the equipment in the background of surprised Dean (who is so good at keeping his eyes off the equipment right before him, heehee.) Also: green vest, hel-lo.
Oh, Mary. Never has drawing outside the frame been more fitting and heartbreaking. Great work on the flames and their reflection too. Mary's eyebrows do that thing that Dean does too. Oh, Mary. *sighs*
I feel SO badly about dropping the crib piece (I loved it too), but I just couldn't get John and Mary to work. Probably because their faces were so small. :( I've got to get back to drawing on 11x14" sheets -- the two-inch face, that's my comfort zone.
LOL, comic-book! That would be a distinct possibility if only fandom didn't keep dangling tempting challenges in front of my nose. Every time I think I've got a spare moment to draw something "extra," along comes some evol person with a new challenge that I just can't resist.
. . . Photoshop is still the devil. A helpful devil, but satanic nonetheless. ;)
I'm happy you liked the artset. Thank you for such a lovely, detailed comment! ♥
