Ahahahahaahha, hiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii there, Jeff *blushes*
(Did you ever see this film? If you haven't DON'T look for it, it was the weirdest crap I've EVER seen. Very unsettling and not in a rollercoaster/haunted house/freaky fun kind of way. Maybe you need to be really high or drunk to get the joke, but as I'm a fan of neither, I was just left with a what the fuck did I just watch feeling. Sillie and I decided about fortyfive minutes in to just fast forward in between the douchebag Jeff scenes, aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaargh. Love the gif though, hot dayum!)
Must've missed this one. Which film is it? (I've survived some truly strange films in my time, so wouldn't mind taking a look. Especially if JDM is in it. And if I hate it, I won't blame you!) :D
I guess I try to stay away from the sillier aspects of fandom, so I don't really see a lot of the hate thank goodness, but whenever I hear it referred to, I am always quite perplexed.
At Chicon last year Jared came across as a charismatic, kind-hearted person who genuinely liked to meet and chat with people. He also has fabulous hair, likes animals, isn't afraid to make fun of himself and seems happy to own his inner-geek. What's not to like? Baffling.
I don't get the hate, either, but oh, boy is it out there, and it's nasty. I've had to distance myself from Jensen!girls who hate Jared and Jared!girls who hate Jensen alike.
You are wise to avoid the darker corners of fandom. :)
