Unemployment help

I have a job that I love and one that works best with all my needs. Only downside is I don't work during the summer. I tried to collect unemployment but found out that my employer -due to them being so small- does not pay into unemployment. Thus, I cannot collect it.

If I had known this, I would have been adding to my savings so I could live off
