Thank you! I had been staring at the Adobe website for a while and with my student discount it's slightly more affordable but still a big chunk of change. I think my father must have found a copy at the university where he works. :D

I've been using GIMP for everything for the past 5+ years so I'm massively behind on all the advancements in Photoshop. I can't wait to be able to look at other iconner's tutorials in CS5 and actually have the features they're talking about!

I have CS3 here at work and at home, but not exactly legal at home. *cough* I just got Pixelmator for Mac, which is suppose to be a really good Photoshop substitute so I can start going legit. It has most of the same features and costs much less. I'll probably use that for the Photoshop work and

No, I haven't read your story yet. I have only read 2 stories in the DW fandom since the last episode. I guess I've just been so in my own head where DW is concerned since I've been trying to work out the new relationship/characterization implications. However, I'm putting your story on my list of 'To Read!" I will read it within the next few days and be sure to leave you feedback. :D

I actually wrote the story before 6x07 aired so it has no references to River being their daughter or the regenerating girl or anything. I'm don't think the story has been moffucked by that reveal, but it is definitely more of a reflection of pre-607 River than post-607 River, if that makes any difference to you.
