I know, I know, I know......... but real life got in the way, and stress is not particularly conducive to creative writing. So, update #3: I've reached Novella stage. 26K words and about 5 yards from the finish line

One of the nice things about writing this piece is that it's pushed me to watch lots of L&O again. I remember, now, why I loved this show and why I enjoyed writing Jack/Ed so much -- SW and JLM. They're just.... damned fine.
