-My van broke down. . .again
-Hurt my back
-Van was fixed by Firestone for free since a repair they had previously done wasn't done right and that's what was causing the problem.
-Joe sent me flowers, made me happy.
-My grandpa turned 78 today. And he still acts 15.
-I have a yahoo stalker.

I just need to hold on until October. Then everything will be ok.

I'm going to Hawaii in December!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Unfortunately after that Joe won't be in Hawaii anymore, but they told him he'll probably be transferring somewhere stateside.
Oh! And now, instead of getting leave in December, he's getting leave in October!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yays.

So Joe gets 30 days leave in December and he's flying straight into Tallahassee. Shortly after that he'll be out of Iraq and back in Hawaii. So during spring break I'll be visiting him in Hawaii and possibly looking for a place for us to live together. Should be fun!

That phrase, "when one door closes another one opens," has become all the more real to me recently. I close the door on a relationship that was starting to pull me down and now Joe comes into the picture and things are. . .interesting. This should be a fun rollercoaster.

So I made it through my first year on my own. I know it's only going to get worse from here, but hey, the uphill battle has been fun at times. It's made me realize some things. So I'm heading back to Tallahassee tomorrow and I'm actually not looking forward to it. Yes, I've missed my friends and everything but...I don't know. Just knowing that this is going to be a high stress semester isn't making me look forward to it all that much.

So one semester down, a few more to go. I'm thinking more and more now about London, and the more I think about it the more I think I really should go. It'd be nice to get out of the country ( Read more... )
