Flore arrived to the night shift last night she is an LPN who is originally from Africa and speaks french. she is fairly new to the nursing field and has never even started an IV yet. the nurses on my unit immediatly began declairing how she must speak english before they will even attempt to work with her. it amazes me the closed mindset that

Don't apologise for them...make them feel stupid and small in public. Seriously. Expose their (intentional) ignorance. It is worth it.
