The subtitle of the SPIEGEL title is "Wie Europäer auf die Deutschen blicken" - "How Europeans view the Germans", so this is a reflection of the kind of "pranks" you've shown from the Greek press. The article is about this kind of coverage, not mirroring it.

This does not contradict what the post says, i.e., "these types of pranks are more typical for the Greek press, where they constantly try to draw a swastika or the moustache on Merkel, as a revenge for the German financial policy"

As I understand, Spiegel is a "reputable German outlet", so naturally they wouldn't put Merkel together with the fascists on the cover without some sort of pretext. However, we know that when it gets to magazine covers words are nothing and image is everything, so I don't see a problem with what's stated in the article.

Frau Wagenknecht anonymous March 23 2015, 19:11:56 UTC
Well, personaly i would like to see Frau Wagenknecht as german chancelor. Im certain that would stir up the establishement
quite a bit.
But of course that will never happen, because she is
left-wing. And for the elite in germany the enemy is tradionaly always on the left side of the political spectrum.

I believe this video is from nearly 10 months ago (June 4, 2014). I posted it to my Facebook page on June 14, 2014 and applauded her efforts and the content of the speech.
