So, using the beginning of the semester as a launch point, I began to work out quite dilligently. I went 3 or 4 times per week and noticed some small but favorable results. Lost a ( Read more... )

Well done!

Now come on slacker, get with it - you're gonna let a girl be able to bench press more than you? ;O)

Awesome! Glad you've decided to get back to it. You'll thank yourself later, but for motivation, we'll be glad to prod you along.

Me too! This came up quite suddenly as Roommate and I were doing dishes last night, although I had been telling myself that I should start at it again for weeks now. Thanks for the motivation!

Heh, well thanks, but don't call me an insiration until I actually stick with it for a while. As I said, earlier this year I only lasted a couple months. Hopefully this time will be longer.

Awesome!! :)

As you know, I've been working out recently too - just updated my numbers yesterday.

I'm starting to wonder if we should all create a community where we can post out work outs, miles, meals, weights, measurements - whatever, so we can encourage each other together.

I know! That was actually part of my inspiration, hearing you describe your eliptical fun. I love the eliptical machines and I've been telling myself to get back to it for weeks now. A community like that might be nice - although I might keep my shockingly pathetic weight amounts to myself. ;o)

You can do it, you can do it, rah rah rah! :)

So far I've been using the "eat less, move more, drink water" mantra, which has suited my purposes and schedule. However I'm getting to the point where I actually need an exercise routine.

Thanks! I'm starting to drink lots of water again, too. I used to drink tons of water, and then I got on a coffee kick and didn't drink much water which is terrible for the body. Yay agua!
