Milwaukee ARGer Movie Night #1

I'm a bit behind because I was lazy today, but time to recap last night. The first of many (yes, there will indeed be more, Phaedra) Milwaukee ARGer Movie Nights was a LOT of fun.

Caspian, you are without a doubt the GrillMaster.

And I have definitely not had that much fun in a long time as watching The Game with the only audience who can truly appreciate it. (As opposed to my friends who are kind of half (a) this is kinda cool and (b) what the heck kind of games are you playing.)

Thanks for hosting! I am uber-sad that I won't be able to attend more Movie Nights with the whole moving crap. *frown* Maybe if you guys get together the week of Irish Fest (August 13-20th) I could swing by. =)

Why thankee! I'm glad you enjoyed the grillin and the chillin. I think we could throw together a Milwaukee ARGer get together since before you head out of our beloved city!

Was said movie night empowered with stealth technology? Somehow it managed to evade me. Not that I manage to get out to Milwaukee with great frequency, but I'd be all for trying to arrange a WI trip that conincided with some manner of ARGtastic social event.

Anyway, sounds awesome - much props to the organizer(s) & food providers.

Oh sorry! It was mentioned a few places in the blogosphere but not really with any great fanfare. It basically started with phaedra_amunet and karlkarlbobarl reacting with shock (and not awe) that I had never seen The Game. Since both of them happen to live in Milwaukee (county), we decided to make a night of it, inviting bwochinski as well because he also lives in Milwaukee and also seriously Rocks.

Next time we have a Milwaukee ARGer event (and there WILL be a next time...I'll even be so bold as to say this summer...maybe in August since ARGfest is in a couple weeks) we'll make sure to give it thorough media attention. If only we had a forum for posting ARG related news... :o)
