i wonder
BSG is on my mind a lot lately, so here's a few things I'm wondering about the rest of the series (besides the obvious):
I wonder if we'll see Apollo again. I haven't made it a secret that I'm none too fond of Lee Adama in his new political career. I mean, yes, he made a great speech at Baltar's trial, and again when forming the alliance with D'Anna. That aside, I've missed Apollo. I don't think we've seen Apollo since the day Starbuck returned at the Ionian Nebula. And I miss him. He was one of my favorite characters.
I wonder if we'll see the Chief again. We saw the Chief as recently as Ionian Nebula battle, giving Anders a pep talk. I think we still saw him a bit thereafter. But I haven't seen the Chief since Cally died, and I miss him too.
I wonder if we'll see Natalie again. I really liked her character and was disappointed when she died. It's possible, though unlikely, that they actually were within range of a resurrection ship or the hub itself when she was shot. The famous "Last Supper" painting had her pointing angrily at Athena, which would only make sense if she downloads and comes back and is angry at Athena for shooting her - unless it was just foreshadowing. I don't recall Natalie being angry with Athena before Athena shot Natalie.
I wonder if we'll see Cavil and Boomer again. Unlike the others, I'm fairly certain this one will happen. They seemed to have been setting something up with Boomer and Cavil. I had this feeling Boomer would redeem herself by allowing herself to remember the love she had for humanity and the Colonial fleet and take a stand for the human race. It is plausible that Boomer and at least some Number One's (if not the actual Cavil that was with Boomer) made it off the hub before it blew. I'm hoping there's some resolution to that arc.
