What a great day of soaring Saturday!  It was my first time in the 1-34 in several months, so I was a little rusty for the first 15 minutes.  But the reflexes came back and soon the glider was an extension of my body

Steve and I spent Sunday at Laguna Seca Raceway near Monterey where electric cars were given free track time. They had four 15 min sessions on the track and also a two lap time trial. Of the 6 Tesla roadsters participating, Steve had the third fastest time and even received a trophy. His time was 1:58 on the 2.25 mile track, which was 6 seconds better than last year. It was a beautiful day and I enjoyed talking to other electric vehicle owners and members of the general public who came to check things out.

Bruce - so glad you had such an energizing, happy experience. Maybe a little bit scary at times? However, I know that flying is your very best way to relieve stress - so it was great that yu had this chance. By the way - what is "rain"? That is a new word to me.
