Soaring

Another lovely day for soaring today. We were so busy I didn't have time to launch until 3pm, but I managed to stay above my release altitude for over an hour. I drifted a bit downwind, though, and spent my altitude getting back to the airport. I finally got the cushions right, so I was comfortable the whole time. A fun almost-Fall day!

Really glad you are having the chances to fly (glide?) these days. Your Sister is driving in these torrential rains ( down where she is) as she is taking workers to be trained from Richmond to Newport News. Not a gooddrive, in a van. Gustave was easier for youk thank goodness.

Thanks for the help with gliding. It's called soaring if the glider manages to climb above the altitude of releasing the tow rope. Since I managed about an hour of that yesterday, it would be called soaring - and it does make my spirits soar!

Sorry to hear Shirley is having difficulty with her first hurricane. I wondered about that.
