Can anyone recommend a 'man with a van'? I'm hoping to start moving some things into storage this weekend, but I don't fancy carrying it all in boxes!! Sometimes I realy regret not being able to drive...
It was a while ago, but I think I used Smart Move, who are listed in the Yellow Pages with the phone number 01179 42 36 42. I was going to use the man with the van that is based in Clifton, but because I had antique furniture to move I wanted someone who had Transit Insurance (which Smart Move advertise they have). Got a whole load of furniture and antique furniture moved around Bristol, a door taken off its hinges and put back on all in one morning for 200 quid. Nice chaps too. Might be a bit overkill for your purposes.
