What did you think of Riddle? It took me a long time to grasp what it was they were looking for, and I wondered if it was because my mindset was so distant from that of the author/characters.

Oh, I read old Dangerfield - brillian stuff, wasn't it? Kind of like settling back in a big old wing chair with a stiff snifter and listening to a liverish old colonel recounting his memoirs. Hard to imagine he was only in his thirties when he wrote it, if I remember right.
