A while back I posted about the Sonos system. Leo of Embracing Chaos recently posted about a good user experience that he had with his Sonos which got us into a brief discussion of the Sonos and it's features. I mentioned that the entire Sonos system wasn't quite what I was after especially given the price tag and he suggested checking out the SlimRead more... )

I have a Roku and it actually isn't all that bad either. I don't tend to use it very much. But from what I recall, it's cheaper than all options, has pretty much the same options (although, all control is from the remote, and best of all it looks like a little pipe bomb.

I'm going to guess that you have the Soundbridge, how well does the navigation work?

that answer was vague, because i'm using it as a pretext to hang out.

the remote is pretty simple, there's no alpha numeric, so it takes a bit of dexterity to find a certain song on the network. think of the ipod with like 8 additional buttons, and no spinny wheel. it picks up internet radio presets pretty easily, and primarily works through the main apps such as wm10 and itunes. if you use winamp or some linux based open source thingy, i'd research more before getting roku.
