Last weekend the family and I drove to NE Oregon (Le Grande) to visit her mom, step-sad, and sister and spend Easter with them. The actual driving portion of the trip went well and I was surprised at how well Cooper did. Sounds like a fun trip. We broke down and bought a portable/car DVD player (two screens, straps to the head rests) because we've been taking longer road trips with Molly. And now that she's older and less interested in just staring out the window, or playing with toys in the back seat, when you aren't able to make a lot of stops along the way and she'll only nap for so long, it's nice to have something to keep her occupied. (I know, sound the Bad Parent alarm.)

Red meat has remained the one major craving I've had throughout this pregnancy. I couldn't stand the sight, smell, idea of it while carrying Molly. With her, I couldn't get enough fresh fruit. Wonder if the gender difference plays a factor in that sort of thing. (I doubt it, but I'm sure there's an old wives tale that says as much.)
