I love that Sam thinks of the bunker as his home now. And I love how determined Sam is to save his brother!

I thought that was a very interesting line, and you're right, it has so much more meaning when combined with the previous gif from Season 9.

I'm thinking that he sees it as a home now, and it's interesting to compare it to that scene from season 9.

Sam said "there's no place like home" at the end of ep 9.04, so the idea of it being home for him isn't something new!

I know, but I think that moment was aimed specifically at Dean. Dean was home for him, now I think the bunker is aswell :)

Oh Sammy. <3333 Obligatory "that is an extremely attracting gif of Sam, 9x04 is suddenly worth so much more to me!!" comment. This line in the second one makes me wonder whether his perception of the Bunker has changed so much (I'm still thinking about how between the end of 9x04 when he started coming around about the Bunker, and now, his body did sort of... kill Kevin in it), or whether he consciously chose to repurpose Dean's language around it, in order to really try to speak to Dean. Which of course in the episode backfires. :( However we read the line, one interpretation always holds true: OH SAMMY. <33333333

Sammy. <3333

Yes, at the end of 9.04 he said that there's no place like home. And I'm thinking that with Dean gone, he's even more aware that the bunker is their "home", a place that he shared with Dean, and there's the pain of Dean's absence from it. Or it could be that he's using the word home to "speak" to Dean. My feeling is that Sam has changed his feelings toward the bunker. It's totally open to interpretation, yes. *HUGS SAMMY*

When I first saw that, my impression was that he didn't mean home as a place, he meant bringing them back together, their home is each other kind of thing, because I still don't think he views the Bunker the same way Dean does. And that gif makes me want to cry--his face!! His wobbly 'I'm not gonna cry' little face!

My feeling is that Sam has started seeing it more as a home. At the end of ep 9.04, he said "there's no place like home." It's open to interpretation, of course... there's no definite answer. :)

OMG yes, his wobbly "I'm not gonna cry" little face! *hugs Sammy*
