People are freaking out? Really? When I watched it, I could tell that some of his hair was tucked into his collar, so that makes it look shorter than it really is (look at the length in that promo pic, that's what it really looks like, also in the promo that was on after the last ep, the scene where Sam's lying in bed his hair looks longer). It might be the way it was styled, too. I also saw some promo pics from 8.21 and it's nice and long there :)

Ah ok... I briefly looked over there and I saw some people going "OMG Sam cut his hair into a bob!!" lol! But yeah, that's all it is... I've noticed his hair being tucked into his collar before and it made it look shorter than it really is. I was looking at that video again and then pictures of him in the purgatory scene in Taxi Driver... and it really looks about the same. I agree, it looks fine! We know how it really is ;)

People are upset? Did they not realize Jared must get his hair trimmed from time to time? If he didn't, his hair would be down to his shoulderblades by now!
Why would people be upset about a trim? Now, if he'd gotten a new haircut, then I'd understand the reaction.
I think it's because it appears to be shorter than it really is. But yeah, it's just a trim. It's not like he has a crew-cut, or anything like that. :) His hair looks pretty!
