UGH. My heart just breaks for Sam in so many of the early seasons. I mean, I always love him and my heart is always and forever broken for both of them, but there was just something about Sam in those first few seasons that was so goddamned tragic. I just... *heartclench*

OMG yes, there's something about Sam in the early seasons, as hints of his destiny slowly unfold. It's so tragic, and my heart aches for him. Poor bbs, they've both been through so much.
