I was wondering about that too. I know since they sold their house near Jared’s place, they had been renting while another building (I remember hearing something about a historic B&B), was being rented. But then Covid hit. Now even Danneel’s phot of Icarus in Jensen’s suitcase seemed to be on Colorado. I’m curious too.

I heard the same thing to, that Jensen had sold his house near Jared's place, and was staying somewhere else in Austin, but that was more than a year ago. Then I read that the move to Colorado was temporary, but there's recent pics showing Danneel and the kids are still there. So, it makes me think that they've left Austin, but I don't know for sure.

Hmm, I don't know about Jensen, but I just recently read that Jared has moved, too.

Where did you read about Jared moving? The last thing I saw about his home was the video where Jared and Gen gave a tour of their house for Architectural Digest.

I read it in a recent issue of People Magazine. It was well after the video you mentioned. It seemed a bit surprising since he and Jensen have lived near each other for so many years.

A commenter below has said that Jared still has his home, but he also bought a ranch near the Walker's filming location.

Jensen sold his home near Jared awhile ago, but he still have some properties in Austin.

I didn't see any mention of Jared selling his home in the recent People magazine from August 30. Did you see something in a different issue?

Officially, Jensen now has 2 houses - a hotel that is being rebuilt into an apartment building and a ranch house. He sold the rest. Jared didn't sell the house, he just bought a ranch near Walker's filming location. There is a large plot, a stable, a shooting range and a small house.

So, the hotel that's being rebuilt into an apartment building (I assume this is in Austin)... is this just a property that Jensen owns, or does he actually live there sometimes? And I assume the ranch house is his Colorado home.

Jensen's Ranch is a home on the brewery grounds. The house is big enough. I don't know how to insert pictures here, but the house is often filmed by fans under the tag of a brewery. The girl who sold the ranch to Jared made a post on Instagram where she made a charity donation and posted a photo of Jared and Genevieve with this check. Genevieve posted in history pictures from this house where children run. I just found this girl's house for sale.

Oh ok, Jensen has a ranch home on the brewery grounds. Now I'm curious if he actually uses it anymore, or if it's just part of the property.

I saw a picture of the charity donation thing, but didn't know it was the girl who sold the ranch to Jared.

A hotel in Austin is being converted into a single-family home. It used to be like this, but the previous owners turned it into a family hotel with several rooms. Now it will again be just a home for one family. Maybe Jensen will live there, or maybe they do it for sale.

I see, so it's not someplace where he could be living during the renovation, it's just a property that he owns that's being converted into a single-family home. There's the possibility that he could live there, or if not, put it up for sale.

I haven't seen any pics of Jensen and his family in Austin in a long time, and more recent pics of Danneel and the kids are in Colorado. So, it looks more and more like he's not living there anymore. Have you seen anything about Jensen actually spending any time at the ranch house on the brewery grounds? Or is it just there on the property?

No. Photo from Austin has not been for a long time. But from the house at the brewery a few years ago there was already one photo for someone's birthday.

So, it's been a few years since there's been a photo from the house at the brewery. Doesn't sound like it's been used by them anymore.

I had no idea that Jensen sold his house in Austin. It was so beautiful, and they spent so much money redoing it. I wonder why they moved. I knew they were in Colorado for awhile, but I always thought that was more temporary. I wonder what prompted the move.

The fact that Jensen and Jared no longer live so close to each other and the fact that when they are both in town they won't be able to hop on over to each other's house - that just saddens me. Their kids were the best of friends and now they are separated and won't grow up together. So, I guess no more weekend visits to the brewery and for fans to meet up with Jensen & Danneel.

I've known for awhile that Jensen sold his house in Austin, and heard he had moved somewhere else in the city. But then we saw that they were in Colorado, and I haven't seen any hint of them being back in Austin since. Now I've learned from discussing this in the post, that he has a ranch home on the brewery grounds (but there hasn't been any photos from there in years), so it doesn't look like he's living there anymore.

Jensen's Austin house was beautiful, and they put so much into redoing it. I also wondered why they moved. It doesn't look like Colorado is a temporary thing anymore. There's been recent pictures of Danneel and the kids there.

It saddens me, too. I thought that Jared and Jensen wanted their families to be close and for their kids to grow up together. That's not happening.

I think they're still friends, but something has changed.

I remember seeing the IG posts of Jensen in Colorado and how they said they were quarantining there, but nothing about how they are settling there permanently. Probably just wanted to keep it on the QT. I have seen some of the posts of D and the kids with some friends and how they are still in Colorado. That surprised me. I thought for sure they would be back in Austin, especially with schools starting up again. I guess not

After Gino got married, he rented an apartment in Dripping Spings, near the Brewery. There used live a brewer in the house at the Brewery, but recently he bought a house, also next to the Brewery. Now the historic house, which they wanted to transform into a restaurant and a hotel, is free. The restaurant is not yet open there, apparently everything has stalled because of the covid.
