I took a walk today in the summer heat of May (it was in the 80's!) and came across something I hadn't noticed before... a Little Free Library public bookcase! It's so cute, rustic and very small, with only room enough for a few books. It looks like something from Little House on the Prairie. :)

Yes, so neat! They would need to be cleaned. One of them was a journal, and when I opened it up, all the pages were wet, dirty and moldy, so I threw it away.

Awww, that's delightful.
We had one in front of our Middle School across the street, but it was taken down when they basically upended the entire site to build a new edition. I hope it comes back!
