Question about Toni Bevell

Mar 10, 2017 08:35

I haven't seen ep 12.02 in awhile, and I have a question about Toni.

When Mick shows up, he says that Toni will face consequences in London. In the car, Toni says that she won't get on that plane... Mick says that she will. My question is... was she in restraints, or not?

spn questions, toni bevell

Thanks anyway, bb!

It doesn't make sense to me that Toni would willingly go back to England to face "consequences", unless those consequences are minimal. If she's restrained, then she'd have no choice. If she wasn't, then she didn't fear any major consequences.

She's British, keep in mind. Dignity in all things (LOL) but I mean the broad generalisation in television is dignity in all things for us Brits, so maybe she felt she should acquiesce and show a sense of decorum. And she is the hoity toity type of Brit we see in tv and film where they would value decorum and dignity above all else.

That's an interesting perspective... I hadn't thought of that! Though, if this is how Toni is, do you think she'd still go back willingly, even if her punishment was torture? Ketch described Toni as having gone "rogue", and we saw how someone defined that way was treated... Ketch had Pierce in chains (ep 12.14), and he said they had ways of dealing with hunters who go rogue. We don't know if the BMol see Toni's actions differently, or not, and we don't know how much punishment she's received. She could've gotten off lightly, or the punishment could be severe (or something in between).

I can tell you that we never see her hands in that scene so....I don't know.
I hope we find out what happened to her.

Thanks for letting me know that we don't see her hands. I wondered if it was something that I had missed.
I hope we find out, too, though I am nervous about how her storyline will be handled.

I'm not sure if she was in restraints, but I think she'd want to go home as she has her little boy waiting for her.

It seems that we're all not sure! Raloria commented that Toni's hands aren't visible in that scene, so we can't tell one way or the other.

Toni said that she didn't want to go back to England, because she had a dossier, and was just getting started. It would make sense that a mother would want to be with her child, but Toni seemed more interested in getting the "job" done, and I assume that after that, she'd want to go home.

I was curious if she had been restrained, because I want to know if the BMol punished her for disobeying orders. If she wasn't restrained, then maybe sending her back to England is the only punishment she'll get. As if torturing Sam was no big deal to the BMol. I mean, even Sam is working with them, despite what happened to him. :(
