I've never had a problem with moonlight through the window, but our next door neighbors have a floodlight they sometimes keep on all night--I could read fine print it shines through the bedroom window--and the shade!--so brightly. I have a cardboard sheet cut to friction fit in the window frame, which is an effective blackout, so I can sleep.

I do miss the moonlight, though.

I love how that pan across from the desk over Sam's sleeping form leads to your icon...of Sam's sleeping form. Nicely done!

Yes, floodlights can be too bright, and that's very different from lovely moonlight going through a window.

Wonderfully done, my dear. I can't sleep with the light on or the moonlight shining through my window, I need absolutely darkness ...

Aww, thanks. <3 It seems that some of us need total darkness to sleep, and others need some light...
