Aww, sweet Thena. My dad had a cocker spaniel in the 1980's named Brandy. He was technically my dog, but he didn't live with me because I worked all day and didn't want him to be left alone. Dad kept him since he was retired and took wonderful care of him. I should see if I can find any pictures of him, he was a beauty.

It's a good thing we can go beyond our childhoods and grow out of things, yes. :)

Aww, Thena was so cute. I've always liked Cocker Spaniels.

I just can't imagine what it would be like to be a shy child. My mother said that from the time I could walk and talk I'd go up to total strangers and start chattering away. She had a little harness and leash for me to keep me from wandering away in search of people to talk to. LOL

Aww, thanks. Cockers are such lovely dogs.

At home with family I was less shy, but at school or any other social situation, I was withdrawn.

OMG, she had a leash and harness for you, lol. It's nice that you were so friendly!
